The crafts village of Korrö is located at the Ronneby creek's western shore, right where the creek divides itself into two. The history of the village can be traced back to the 17 hundreds, but the creek has been used for watermills since the middle ages.
What's left of the days of the old craftysmen is a mill, a saw and a tanning workshop. There used to also be a brewery and a shoe maker's. The manor hopuse is owned by the Swedish tourist association and being used as a hostel.

The Korrö naturer reserve is connected to the village at the western bank. Alluviae from the time of the glaciers have formed the area around the village. The banks and meadows have always been used for agricultural purposes. Closest to the village, there are acres and mowing fields, further aways feeding grounds and finally forests.
The work on the fields starts of early in spring, when the anemones bloom and branches and leaves are collected from the meadows. The mowing is done by hand and takes place in July and August. As the ground is uneven and full of stones, the scythe still is the best instrument for that job.
Several paths lead through the reserve, along which there are signs informing you about about the sourrounding nature. Just outside the village there is a building known as the "lodge", where visitors can have a picnic and find shelter from the weather.
